The last of the IVs have been removed. Dianne still has pain. Dr. Mooney indicated that Dianne should be able to go home tomorrow. She's trying to do more walking today but is limited by the diarrhea.

Dianne still has a lot of pain. She normally hides pain really well so it's been odd to see her reaction to this situation.
The good news is that the Dr. Mooney said that there's a chance that she might be able to go home tomorrow. We'll need to hear from the other doctors.
Dr. Mooney just removed the JP drain and the stitches. I needed to leave the room since I could bear to see more tears.

Dianne has signs that the bowels may be waking up. This is especially good news since yesterday was a discouraging day. She still has a lot of pain but is trying to avoid the pain medicine since it can often cause constipation.

There are more signs that the bowels are waking up as she appears to be in lots of pain.
